I'm a sperm whale living in the ocean, (a good place for a whale) mainly in the southern hemisphere, though I sometimes head north of the equator. I'd like to show you what my life is like here in this beautiful place, at least it used to be beautiful. The ocean was as pure and clean as starlight for tens of millions of years but just over the last fifty years or so its been changing and I'm wondering why. Maybe you have some clues? (I tried not to grit my teeth as I asked you that last question and I said it very sweetly)
The great council of Sperm Whales has selected me for the task of communicating with humans. We whales suspect that if you humans don't start to take responsibility for some of your actions, then the days of the whales are numbered as are the days of you humans yourselves. The links at the top of the page are available on all the pages for you to navigate around my web site but here are a few suggestions that might pique your interest:

• There are some links to some websites that I like, here on my Links page. I'd love more of you to take a more active role in some of these organisations.
  

• I had a recent drama with a piece of plastic stuck down my blowhole. It went right into my lungs and I had to get medical assistance from the dolphins. They sorted it in the end. It was quite a funny story to look back on though I didn't find it funny myself at the time. But I've had it re-written as a children's story. Kids, you can read it on my Stories page.

• I have a Read/Watch page where you can find some of the books and poems I like to recommend to you, and also any films or videos I'd suggest you watch. 
• I have a page about Food. Warning - this page is still very much a work-in-progress. It is a complex issue, though it all revolves around a simple one-word rule.
• I have a contact page where you can send me messages. I will love to receive them and hear your thoughts and ideas on anything you see in the site or any ideas and suggestions for the site itself. I even like to hear about typos you may find. (We whales are not great typists.)
  
• I have a page of solutions. These are solutions to the worst problems facing this planet. They seem so simple and obvious to us whales, we can't understand why you don't all immediately follow them.
  

I am also currently researching for a kind of "Roll of Honour" page showing the names and certain other information about those of cetacean kind who died in the great BP Oil Spill. I hope that this information will help to prevent this disaster ever being repeated and so prevent those lives from being lost in vain. That will be uploaded here when it is ready.
